The Life I Want
Thoughts flood my mind but the question I keep asking myself most is what kind of life do I want?
But I am not really asking myself, am I!
What kind of life do you want for me Jesus?
I could walk away from everything I have gained just to know you more. But looking at the things filling my life – all that I have gained, is You. My home is full of blessings you made possible. I know they are things that will one day pass away. I know they are simple pleasures to fill my heart here and now on earth. I know they only take positions in my home to constantly remind me of your wonder. My heart sings, “Great is Your Faithfulness.” I wouldn’t be where I am today, without you. So, I thank you, Lord for the reminders you have filled my camp with.
And if this is the life you have for me, I will say, Great is your name!
