Grateful Inspiration

From personal experience, every time I am challenged to express what I am grateful for I can’t think past the main few things I always name.

I encourage you to take a moment and walk through your life from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed.

One silly little thing I overlooked but I am extremely grateful for is the flashlight on my phone. I use it every morning as soon as I get up. Whoever had the idea of putting a flashlight in our phones deserves a trophy in heaven as far as I am concerned. It is a small thing, but it is a major part of my life. (you can also tell Seri “Lumos” and it’ll turn on)

If I name just the things in my room, I am thankful for – it sounds like I am a little kid. Having clean sheets on my bed makes me giddy. The lamp on my side of the bed, so I can read into the morning sunrise – makes my heart smile. Even the pillows on my bed, so that my fort completes itself.

The big things and the small things are important to God. The small things are what make our lives move forward.

I hope this list helped you create your own.

I would love to hear what you are grateful for.
