HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY!
WOW! WOW! WOW!
I cannot believe we are closing our 2nd year of Reckless Abandonment and moving into the 3rd.
The depths of God we have discovered together is just mind-blowing. It has been the essence of God penetrating our lives in deep meaningful everlasting waves of his mercy, his grace, and his love.
If you have been here since the start or joined in later all I can say is well done. Your efforts for pursuing the Father have not gone in vain. Every decision you make to pursue His heart, his will for your life is an everlasting one. We all have sin. We all fall short, but His arms are ever beckoning for us to come.
This past year we have discovered new confidence and renewal within our souls.
We discovered what it means to focus and grasp the refreshing wind of heaven.
We were taken into new depths of repentance guided by the holy spirit to help us uncover and let go of deep roots.
Together, we were reminded that God calls us brave and being courageous is a part of our very DNA.
We dug into the books of Colossians and James.
Together we learned how to pray through Psalms. Allowing our spirits to soar in what it means to trust God.
Thanksgiving and Praise became a new melody added to our anthem we sing about heaven.
We celebrated the birth and life of our King and praised him in all his majesty and splendor.
And we closed the year with reminding ourselves of who our God is for us.
We have come so far together and still there is so much to be gained.
My hope is that you are forever changed by this little group. This community, you – are a blessing from heaven I didn’t know I was or should be expecting. So thank you for being a part of this pursuit with me.
As you might have noticed, I told you all I was taking a break from social media for the month of December. Then it rolled into January. Sooo much happened and didn’t happen. But that is for a later time. I’ll be sharing those tid-bits all that throughout the next month.
Right now, lets get into what this month is going to consist of.
This month is going to be about the GOODNESS OF GOD! I mean, we had an intense amazing past year and I couldn’t think of a better way to approach year 3 than remembering His goodness and look forward expecting it.
