Encouragement,  Thoughts

Peace in the Midst of Uncertainty

There are a lot of things to be said about what is happening in the world. I can’t imagine where you are in your life. I am not going to judge your savings account, what is or isn’t in your cupboards. I am not judging you if you are worried to death about the bills getting paid, losing your job, losing the things you possess, or your business going under. I’m not judging your shopping cart or the fret I can see in your demeanor. I don’t look upon your children and judge your role as a parent. I don’t judge you for booking that flight or packing your car. I don’t judge your worry for loved ones or standing restless in the pharmacy line. I don’t judge you for taking extreme precautions because you have things going on behind closed doors I couldn’t possibly imagine. But what I do – is gather you up before the throne of grace. I lay your life before the feet of Jesus and ask Him to encounter your life. I ask that the Holy Spirit comfort your heart and impart perfect peace. The peace of Yeshua himself. His peace transcends time and space; it guards your heart without delay. I ask that His peace rules your heart overall worry and all fear. I ask the Lord to help you cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. That you seek out His peace and learn His heart. I speak to Your heart and tell it to purse the one who created it. I tell it to neglect selfishness and evil, instead to promote peace. By doing so, we have the fullness of joy. The Lord gives strength to His people and blesses His people with peace. I speak over your mind, heart, spirit, and soul and command it to be strong and courageous, do not fear; for the Lord God goes before you. Do not be discouraged because the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. God created you. He formed you and knows you from the inside out. You are His. You are loved. You may be walking through the darkest valley you’ve ever known, but do not fear the road before you. Your Great Comforter will guide you and lead you. I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. The Lord is your light and your salvation – whom shall you fear? The Lord is the stronghold of your life – of whom shall you be afraid? Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. The Lord is your help and your shield. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him; for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust. The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear Him, and His righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts. The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules overall.

I will not fear this world or man, for You are with me. I will not be dismayed, for You are my God. You will strengthen me and help me. Lord, You will uphold me with my righteous right hand. The LORD is my strong defender; He is the one who has saved me. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will sing about his greatness.
